gay pride parade are the most colorful and vivacious celebration of one's sexual orientation.
delhi saw its first gay parade on 8th june 2008,although everyone was out on the street celebrating, shouting slogans,waving rainbow colored flags,wearing attractive head gears and fancy outfits yet one could easily sense defiance and skepticism.
but delhi now having witnessed three gay parades in consecutive years is breaking free from its conservative mind set,the participants and even the audiences seem more accustomed as they very comfortably and pompously bear their faces to a frenzy of media :)

India can now fully pride itself on being the world's largest democracy, as it no more takes a dim view of gay rights!!!
